Sometimes trees do need a major overhaul if you will. As we’ve mentioned in other parts of the site there are different reasons as to why you may need major tree cutting. If one branch of the tree is growing towards your house it could certainly be a good idea to completely remove that particular branch to make sure that it won’t be a cause for concern moving forward. These are maybe the more “extreme” cases. You could require tree cutting just when the tree is overgrown or just not looking like you would want it to. 
 
Should I Be Thinking About Cutting My Tree?
 
As we mentioned cutting at least in the way that we imply it involves essentially removing major parts of branches or at times even entire branches from the tree. Is this something that would be a good idea for your tree? Well, if you think that your tree has gotten too large or too wide for your taste it could be time to reduce the number of branches to essentially reduce the size of the tree. There’s no right time to be doing this, it’s very much a feel or look issue.

If we remove a tree we won’t leave the tree on your sidewalk or try to cram it into your green waste trash can. We’re going to run it through a wood chipper and take all that remains. Best Time To Get This Done
 
When is the best time to do some major tree cutting? We generally recommend that if you’re going for a major overhaul of multiple trees you do it in that late fall pre-winter time frame. Just because the branches are not going to be booming in full swing and we can do major overhauls and allow the tree to adjust better towards its spring and summer look. A lot of people call us in spring or summer though because that’s when they really see how large their tree has gotten. Call whenever you like!
